Our club conducts license preparation classes periodically throughout the year. These usually coincide with the local CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) courses offered by the Calloway County Office of Emergency Management. Fall 2022 Technician Course
Looking for a fun and exciting new hobby? Want to be able to communicate during an emergency? Get your amateur radio license!
This class will cover all information needed to obtain your technician class license, and get on the air with ham radio! Class will meet on Thursday nights for 5 weeks beginning November 10th 2022, with license exams conducted on site during the last class. Classes will be held at Calloway County Fire Rescue Station 1 – 101 E. Sycamore Street in Murray, KY.
The class is provided free of charge and the only material needed is a license study book. A supply of these will be available for loan at no charge. If you prefer to purchase your own, these can purchased online at:
