Recognized for his continuous active involvement with Amateur Radio and the MSU Amateur Radio Club for many years, including emergency operations, dedication to the ham radio tradition of home-brewing, development of expertise in digital modes, promotion of Amateur Radio especially through J.O.T.A. leadership and service as a Volunteer Examiner, and for achievement of the Amateur Extra Class license.
